NFL DFS Projections: How to Read and Use Them
NFL DFS projections estimate a player's fantasy points for a specific slate and scoring system. SLAITIQ brings projected points, salary, position, team and ownership estimates together so you can compare players before building a DraftKings lineup.

Start with the right slate
A Sunday main slate and a single-game contest use different player pools and roster rules. Confirm the date, included games and contest format before comparing any projection. A high projection from the wrong slate is not useful for the lineup you are entering.
In the SLAITIQ desk, choose the current contest first. The projection table defaults to highest projected points first. Filter by position or team, or search for a player, to compare similar options.
Projected points and salary value answer different questions
Projected points estimate output. Salary value compares that output with cost. A player projected for 20 points at $8,000 has 2.5 projected points per $1,000; a player projected for 12 points at $4,000 has 3.0. Those illustrative values do not make the cheaper player automatically better: roster slots, total salary and available alternatives still matter.
For tournaments, also consider how the players in a lineup can succeed together and how commonly opponents may select them. The highest individual projections cannot all fit under a salary cap.
Use the update time as part of the decision
SLAITIQ displays its projection update time separately from schedule and ownership updates. A schedule refresh does not mean player projections were refreshed. The stale-data guard blocks optimization when required data is expired or the slate is locked.
Projections remain estimates. Check current player availability and contest rules before submitting any lineup. SLAITIQ does not guarantee scores or winnings.
Common questions
Are NFL DFS projections guaranteed scores?
No. They are estimates, not minimum scores or guarantees. Injuries, role changes and game outcomes can produce substantial differences.
What does SLAITIQ's projection timestamp mean?
It records the SLAITIQ update associated with the projection snapshot. Schedule and ownership have separate update times.
